Role Overview The Communications and Stakeholder Engagement Advisor supports the delivery of internal and external communications across the Group to ensure the organisation communicates clearly and consistently with employees, stakeholders and the broader community. Working closely with the Group Marketing Manager and leaders across the business, the role contributes to the planning and delivery of communication initiatives, drives stakeholder engagement activities for key projects and organisational initiatives, creates media and PR communications and internal communications for various channels. The role provides coordination and advisory support across the business to help teams communicate project and organisational activities, operational updates in a way that aligns with the organisation’s brand, reputation and communication standards. Key Responsibilities Support the planning and delivery of internal and external communications across the Group, including preparing written content, developing communication materials and supporting communication campaigns and initiatives; Work with project teams and operational leaders to support stakeholder engagement activities for major infrastructure projects and operational initiatives, including preparing stakeholder communications and supporting engagement with community, industry and government stakeholders where required; Assist with the preparation and coordination of media releases and public communications, including monitoring media coverage and supporting media reporting and analysis; Maintain and update key communication channels including the corporate website and intranet, ensuring content remains accurate, current and aligned with organisational messaging; Liaise with internal teams and external suppliers (such as designers, consultants and service providers) to support the development and delivery of communication materials and initiatives; and Maintain records and provide coordination support for communication activities including reporting, documentation and tracking of communication initiatives. About you Your skills and experience will include- Ability to obtain a Maritime Security Identification Card (MSIC); Current Drivers Licence; Tertiary qualification in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing or a related field, or equivalent level of skills and knowledge gained through experience; Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to prepare clear and engaging communication materials; Experience supporting communication or stakeholder engagement activities in a corporate, infrastructure or project-based environment; Proficiency with common communication and digital tools including content management systems, design platforms or communication software; Experience maintaining digital communication platforms such as websites or intranet channels; and Experience with relevant technology platforms including WordPress, Mailchimp, In-Design, Canva, Meltwater and Hootsuite.
