Job Description As our operations continue to grow, we are currently looking for a talented and motivated professional to join our team as Communication Assistant/Assistant Manager. Job Purpose: To support and enhance the Bank's brand image, reputation and stakeholder engagement across Luxembourg and Europe through corporate communications, public relations, event management and corporate branding initiatives. The role serves as a key liaison between the Bank and external stakeholders, while ensuring consistent messaging and effective communication both internally and externally. Main Responsibilities: Your key responsibilities will include (but are not limited to): Develop and implement communication initiatives aligned with the Bank's objectives. Drive the development of the Bank's brand image as Bank of China Europe. Lead the reputational risk management of the Bank. Support internal communication initiatives and employee engagement activities. Support the team in managing sponsorship and partnership actions Empower and support communication initiatives across the entire BOC Europe jurisdiction Handling all other ad hoc matters assigned by the Chairman, Executive Management, or Dept Head Qualifications Technical Skills & Qualifications Education Background: bachelor's degree or above in communications, journalism, language (or equivalent) Working experience: More than 2 years of relevant experience is preferred; however, exceptional candidates with less experience will also be considered for appropriate roles. Language: Fluent in English and Chinese, knowledge in French, German or Luxembourgish is an additional advantage. Soft Skills & Attributes Strong sense of responsibility, with the ability to work independently and see projects through to completion. Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities. Highly organised and attentive to detail, capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously. Emotionally mature and resilient, with the ability to remain calm and professional under pressure. Flexible, pragmatic and solution-oriented when dealing with unexpected challenges. Excellent communication skills and the ability to navigate different cultural and professional environments. Self-motivated, proactive and eager to learn, with a positive and collaborative attitude.
