About the Client Our client is a growing investment and venture platform working closely with founders, investors, and the broader startup ecosystem. Through its venture and fund initiatives, the group supports capital raising, investor engagement, and community-building across the venture landscape. As the business continues to expand, they are looking for a Communication & Community Intern to support marketing, events, and ecosystem engagement. This is a hands-on opportunity to be part of a fast-moving team operating at the intersection of venture capital, startups, and investment. Responsibilities Content & Communications Draft and edit content for LinkedIn, newsletters, and community communications Support development and execution of content and communication plans Help maintain a clear and consistent brand voice across platforms Community & Outreach Assist in engaging with founders, investors, and partners across the ecosystem Support outreach and relationship-building initiatives Monitor engagement and provide insights back to the team Events & Coordination Support planning and coordination of events, roundtables, and community initiatives Assist with invitations, logistics, and follow-ups Attend selected industry events and support on-the-ground coordination where required General Marketing Support Assist with campaign coordination and basic reporting Support day-to-day marketing and community activities as needed Help keep projects organised and on track More 6-month internship Part-time (approx. 3 days/week) or full-time considered Start date: ASAP Must be based in Sydney, Australia Hybrid working model Monthly allowance provided Potential opportunity for full-time conversion after internship completion About You Final-year student in marketing, communications, business, or related field Strong writing skills in clear, professional English Highly organised with strong attention to detail Proactive and comfortable taking initiative Confident communicating with a range of stakeholders Interest in startups, venture capital, or the investment ecosystem Able to multitask and work in a fast-paced, growing team Positive attitude and willingness to learn Previous experience in a startup, events, or marketing environment is advantageous but not required.
