Description
The Communications Coordinator will develop content that supports business growth and employee engagement objectives, manage projects and lead key processes for the function. This position will work collaboratively with other members of the communications and marcom team while being a subject matter expert on key channels and processes. To be successful in this role, the individual must be organized and efficient, have solid project management skills and be a strong editor, content creator and coach for internal stakeholders across the business. Working with communications and marcom team and key subject matter experts to create, edit and distribute/deploy internal announcements, graphics, posters, articles, internal and external social media posts, fact sheets, presentations, newsletters, marketing collateral, surveys, videos, and event related materials. Leading the planning, project management, implementation, and evaluation of various communications and marketing projects. Managing key communications processes and channels for Aerospace Group, including Teams Townhalls, SharePoint sites, intranet, Viva Engage, AppSpace. Support, coach and train employees at plants and in other functions on communications process, content development and comms channels and tools (O365, internal Eloqua, etc.) Collecting, tracking and reporting performance metrics of key internal and external tactics deployed throughout the function. Ensuring alignment with and understanding of brand standards while fostering creativity. Supporting the marcom aspects of the brand transition process for acquired brands. Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, Visual Communication Design or related field of study from an accredited institution Minimum three (3) years experience in communications, public relations, journalism and/or marketing Experience in a large manufacturing organization Strong project management and organizational skills Experience with digital communications tools and channels (i.e. M365 Teams, SharePoint, Townhall, Viva Engage; AppSpace, media monitoring, social media) and understands their role in reaching strategic business objectives. Ability to lead the planning, implementation, and evaluation of projects according to established processes; serve as a consultant for internal stakeholders. Strong proofreading skills and attention to detail is important, as is a strong desire for continuous improvement.
