WHO WE ARE
Aotearoa’s future is electric, and if you are looking to ‘power-up’ your career in 2024, then don’t miss this opportunity.
We are a multi-disciplined, multi-regional electrical design, construction, and maintenance business. We maintain and develop electrical infrastructure assets for energy customers, including the third-largest electricity distribution network in Aotearoa.
We know that what we do at Connetics matters, with solutions that begin at the intersection of community, creativity, and client relationships. We achieve this by exceeding our customers’ current and future needs, leading in sustainability, and delivering innovative future energy services.
ABOUT YOU
To be successful as the Communications Coordinator, you will have a relevant tertiary qualification in Communications or a business-related degree or relevant experience in a communications, marketing, or engagement team with a passion for communicating through various channels. No two days are the same in this position, which requires working with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders.
You will be a self-starter; eager to learn and engage with the wider organisation to understand its objectives and how to best communicate this throughout its messaging. Coupled with this, you will be prepared to engage in tasks that may sit outside your job description and support the wider organisation by building strong relationships across all enterprise teams.
With a strong focus on customer experience, you will foster the Connetics Ways of Working in all your communications both internally and externally and in doing this will continually embed a future focus and continuous improvement orientation.
Reporting directly to the Engagement and Capability Manager, the Communications Coordinator plans and prepares engagement activities and communications (primarily internal, with a view to grow to external marketing engagement) to ensure our people receive the best information and messages.
This role is all about making sure our people get the right info, at the right time, in the right way. It keeps comms flowing, makes things feel joined-up across regions, and supports all the things we know help people feel connected - such as strategic and business updates, culture-building engagement, and events.
