YOUR OPPORTUNITY

We are looking for a skilled and inspired Communications Coordinator to join our team. Working closely with the Communications Manager, the Communications Coordinator will support a variety of strategic initiatives. Primarily, the Communications Coordinator will focus on the implementation of plans and activities that span internal and external communications, marketing, branding, and business development. The role functions in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, requiring excellent writing, accuracy, and organizational skills, as well as the ability to navigate competing priorities effectively.

Responsibilities

Content Coordination and Development

  • Gather information and content for various corporate communications and marketing activities.
  • Draft copy for corporate communications, blogs, marketing materials, and other media.

Marketing (Traditional and Digital)

  • Draft and update marketing materials, such as project description sheets, CVs, company profiles, etc.
  • Manage and organize the company’s image library, ensuring that all images are correctly tagged and stored.
  • Draft, schedule, and monitor social media posts.

Design

  • Design and develop materials, including holiday cards, banners for trade shows, event invitations, brochures, and other promotional items.
  • Design graphics for website, social media posts, and other media.
  • Support the development of presentations for industry events, business development, and other external activities.

Event Support

  • Support the planning and execution of corporate events, including client events, trade shows, conferences, etc.
  • Assist in coordinating logistics, preparing materials, and event communications.

Corporate Collateral

  • Support the development of new company templates as required.
  • Coordinate and assist with updating existing company templates.
  • Gather content and draft weekly internal newsletter.
  • Monitor engagement reports on various digital platforms.
  • Draft content for various internal communications activities.
  • Support the development of presentations for internal events, including Town Halls.
  • Draft, distribute, and report on staff pulse surveys and communications feedback.
  • Support the development of communications plans as assigned and coordinate workflow amongst project contributors, including tracking, documenting, timelines, and resources.
  • Support the development of marketing plans that are creative, directive, succinct, and measurable.
  • Track the growth and impact of social activities and monitor trends, best practices, and techniques around social media.
  • Coordinate with external vendors, industry associations, and stakeholders for various communication-related items, including professional printing, swag, web support, etc.
  • Support the development and implementation of communication processes and procedures to improve efficiency and consistency.
  • Provide administrative support to the Communications Department, including scheduling meetings, tracking expenses, and maintaining files.
  • Update and manage the communications calendar and project tracker; coordinate with stakeholders to ensure that deadlines are met.
  • Other duties as assigned.
