They will identify new and innovative ways to enhance and expand Palms’ communication platforms to engage stakeholders and provide critical updates to staff, leadership and patients. Description of Primary Responsibilities 1) Create and implement a variety of communication materials. This can include internal newsletters and announcements, emailing potential clients, monitoring digital ad campaigns or supporting website and intranet design. 2) Develop internal and external communications platforms, channels, guidelines, and practices, communicating with teams as well as leadership. 3) Responsible for getting communication with employees on all events, issues, rollouts etc. that affect many departments within Palms. 4) Serve as a representative of Palms with community partners and company events and launches. 5) Monitor and drive Paylocity employee recognition channels on Community and Impressions pages to increase awareness and to support employee milestones and individual impacts. 6) Create and distribute the annual Palms yearbook of employee photos, events and accomplishments at year end. 7) Responsible for creating and sending out the employee monthly newsletters and other online outreach strategies. 8) Design and edit large- and small-scale Palms products and publications. 9) Assist and support the bi-annual employee survey process. 10) Research and develop internal stories, newsletters and meeting presentations to promote Palms products, services, projects and accomplishments; review and share messages and presentations. 11) Informing media members or other publications about campaigns to assist with building the company's reputation and promoting its products. 12) Must have a passion for story telling: Provide support with events as needed to design presentations, write speeches, develop plans and other elements as needed. 13) Lead teams to collaborate on campaigns, including researching or hosting external focus groups to get feedback on services offered by Palms. 14) Shall perform all other duties as requested by the CAO or CEO. Requirements Description of Primary Attributes General Development: 1) Must be organized, self-motivated, and detailed oriented. 2) Job duties require the ability to work independently and as part of a team. 3) Possesses significant organizational skills, to manage and direct the significant segments of the organization. 4) Assist in the training and mentoring of coworkers by sharing knowledge, providing guidance, and supporting skill development. Professional & Technical Knowledge: 1) Experienced with Microsoft Office suite of products, especially Teams, SharePoint, PowerPoint and visual design skills proficiency in Microsoft Office suite. Introductory knowledge of website editing with WordPress or similar CMS. 2) Familiarity with internal communication platforms (e.g., Paylocity, intranet) 3) Basic graphic design skills (Adobe Creative Suite or Canva) 4) Survey tools (e.g., SurveyMonkey, Office Forms) Licenses & Certifications: 1) Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in business administration, communications, public relations, journalism or a related field. 2) 2 years of experience in internal communications, public relations, or a similar role.
