JOB SUMMARY

We are looking for a Communications Engagement Manager (13121). The role will work across the department and company to find creative and new ways to develop breakthrough narratives that grow our internal engagement audience. As a part of our team, you will be accountable for creating and curating content showcasing GoDaddy’s innovations, global tech and policy advances spanning responsible AI, cybersecurity, digital transformation, and empowering people through technology. Ultimately, we will deliver content and build our internal community that will drive technology policy thought leadership, and build engagement across our community.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Finance, or related field AND 5+ years Communications, Marketing Operations, Field Operations, Program Management, Project Management, or related experience
  • 3+ years specialized functional (e.g., technology, policy, regulation) experience.
  • 4+ years experience supporting executives in an executive communications role.
  • Demonstrated project management/process improvement skills, effectively evaluates information/data to make decisions; anticipates obstacles and develops plans to resolve issues; creates actionable strategies and operational plans.
  • Demonstrated strategic thinking and leadership with executive relationship management ability.
  • Prior experience in managing by influence across multiple teams/groups across an organization.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a team and across organizational and team boundaries.
  • Ability to manage complex projects in a fast-changing environment. Change Management exposure or experience a plus
  • Proven track record for new, innovative approaches and smart risk taking
  • Community management experience
Responsibilities
  • Translate and advance business objectives through clear and simple messages, narratives that connect audiences to critical information, issues, and cadence.
  • Research, develop and review owned content for internal engagements, external social media,
  • Manage creative briefs, develop internal processes, set and meet aggressive timelines, and employ metrics that grounds work in data.
  • Plan and manage paid campaigns, including communication objectives, audience targeting, flight dates, and success metrics.
  • Develop monthly and quarterly reporting that tracks business content performance, uncover insights to improve, and track success of application of insights.
