Description Location: [Nashville] Reports To: SVP Enterprise Operations & Transformation Position Summary We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Communications & Engagement Manager to lead both internal and external communications across our growing Dental Support Organization (DSO). This role will be responsible for shaping our brand voice, strengthening engagement across our network, managing public relations, and planning impactful events that support business growth and culture. This individual will serve as the central point of coordination for messaging, storytelling, and experiences; ensuring consistency, clarity, and professionalism across all touchpoints. Key Responsibilities Develop and execute a comprehensive internal communications strategy across all practices and the home office Partner with leadership to craft clear, consistent messaging for key initiatives, updates, and organizational changes Improve communication flow between the home office and practices Create newsletters, announcements, and leadership communications Own and manage the organization’s public relations strategy Build relationships with media, industry partners, and external stakeholders Draft press releases, statements, and executive communications Ensure brand consistency across all external channels Plan and execute internal and external events. Manage event logistics, budgets, vendors, and timelines Create memorable, brand-aligned experiences that strengthen engagement and reputation Ensure alignment across marketing, operations, and leadership communications Support reputation management and crisis communication when needed Requirements 5+ years of experience in communications, public relations, event planning. Experience in healthcare, dental, or multi-site organizations preferred (DSO experience is a strong plus) Strong writing, storytelling, and editing skills Proven ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders Experience planning and executing events end-to-end Strong organizational and leadership skills Ability to operate both strategically and tactically in a fast-paced environment
