Communications Engineer

Location: Brisbane

Salary: $140,000 - $160,000 pa + Super

Brief Intro A specialist communications business is seeking a Communications Engineer to design, deploy and commission wireless and IP communications systems. This is a hands-on role covering both engineering design and field-based delivery.

Key Skills/Experience

• 5+ years' experience with wireless, fixed or critical communications networks.
• Private LTE/5G and digital radio systems including P25, DMR or TETRA.
• Strong IP networking skills, ideally Cisco CCNA level or above.
• Experience with system design, configuration, commissioning, FAT and SAT.
• Hands-on field commissioning and troubleshooting experience.
• Experience producing design packages, ITPs and acceptance documentation.
• Background in industrial, resources, mining or other mission-critical environments.
• Relevant engineering qualification or equivalent industry experience.
• RPEQ highly advantageous.
• Australian working rights and current driver's licence required.
