The DC Thomson Communications team is offering a 10-month secondment for a Communications Executive - and we’d love you to join us. This is your chance to play a key role in transforming how we tell our story and strengthening our culture. You’ll uncover great stories from across the business, create content that inspires and help colleagues feel more connected. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Collaborate with teams across DC Thomson to find and share stories that matter Support strategic projects with engaging comms plans Develop and manage channels like newsletters, Viva Engage and The Hub Support external communications including press releases, social media and websites Work closely with the DC Thomson Board and execs on shareholder, pension and corporate communications Support the senior leadership team to improve internal and externals comms Bring fresh ideas and creativity to everything you do Help measure and improve the impact of our communications A positive, proactive communicator who loves building relationships A talented writer with creative flair and plenty of ideas Experience creating multimedia content and using Office 365 tools and WordPress Strong organisational skills and the ability to juggle multiple projects Bonus points for design skills and experience in comms, journalism or marketing Core Skills: Content design and authoring, Brand management, Communication, Project management, Stakeholder relationship management This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills, broaden your experience and make a real impact on how we communicate as a business.
