Communities In Schools of the Heart of Texas is seeking a Communications & Impact Specialist to lead strategic internal and external communications that elevate our brand, strengthen donor engagement, and increase community awareness of our mission. This role works closely with the CEO to advance visibility, storytelling, media relations, and development communications. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement integrated communications strategies Manage website (WordPress), social media, and email marketing Produce print and digital materials (annual report, fact sheets, impact stories, campaign materials) Lead media and public relations efforts Produce video content (in-house and with vendors) Track KPIs and communications performance metrics Support donor communications and development messaging Participate in agency projects and community events What We Offer: 26 Days of paid Holiday time Spring Break off with Pay 100% Employee health benefits covered, with available buy-up plans Health Savings Account Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance Paid Time Off Parental Leave (8 weeks) Requirements Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, PR, or related field 2–3 years of experience in communications, PR, or marketing Strong writing and editing skills Experience with digital marketing, social media, and web management Graphic design experience for print and digital materials Ability to develop bilingual Spanish/English messaging preferred Strong organizational and relationship-building skills
