Job Details Job Location: 6529 N CLASSEN BLVD - OKLAHOMA CITY, OK 73116 Position Type: Internship Travel Percentage: Negligible Job Shift: Day Flowco, an oil and gas technology company, is looking for a Communications Intern to help contribute to Company Communications and Sustainability initiatives. The Intern will provide support as well as contribute to the overall Communications and Sustainability strategies by assisting with the development of current programs. The position will be 20 hours per week maximum, reporting to the VP of Sustainability and Public Policy. You’ll gain valuable marketing, communications, writing, and administrative experience in a corporate setting. You’ll be encouraged to support current programs but also identify new areas for improvement for communications at Flowco. Creativity welcome! Communications Intern Duties and Responsibilities: Assist with the development and implementation of communications strategy Develop and post social media content on various platforms Help coordinate publicity events Assist with improvement of the Company’s intranet Write articles for and assist with the creation of the Employee Newsletter Assist with other administrative tasks Work on special projects within the Sustainability and Public Policy Department Qualifications Communications Intern Requirements and Qualifications: Intern should be working towards a degree in communications or public relations Administrative experience a plus Experience with Adobe InDesign, Cava, and Photoshop Experience with Google Calendar as well as Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel Familiarity with Google Analytics Analytical and multitasking skills Must have outstanding communication skills and be able to work in a team environment. Candidate will work in the office and remotely. 10% travel may be required.
