We’re currently growing our team of Artisans with a Communications Lead focused on internal communications to be in Spring, Texas at our Support Center. As RTI continues to grow, this role will have the opportunity to design and implement new channels, tools, and processes that enhance communication, drive innovation, and create meaningful impact for stakeholders. Duties & Responsibilities Brand & Messaging Strategy Own the internal core messaging framework that communicates the company’s identity (mission and culture), priorities, and value proposition. Ensure consistent messaging, voice, and tone across all platforms and touchpoints (internal and external), aligned with marketing. Partner with executive leadership and Artisans to refine positioning and narrative for different audiences. Content Creation & Deployment Lead the development, improvement, and maintenance of existing and future internal communication tools (email, intranet, town halls, presentations, team briefings, Facebook page) Contribute to content development for key communication avenues: Corporate website (ongoing updates). Brand campaign materials, including digital and print (internal newsletter, etc.). Manage production of visual and written materials in partnership with marketing and vendors as needed. Internal Communications & Engagement Build and implement structured communication plans to engage Artisans. Develop and improve messaging that promotes alignment, clarity, and enthusiasm across all levels of RTI. Create toolkits, presentations, and scripts to enable leaders and frontline teams to clearly communicate RTI’s message. Ensure Artisans are informed, aligned, and engaged with company goals, culture, and change. Serve as a communications coach to Artisans (sharing best practices and facilitating dry runs as needed) Collaborate with marketing on initiatives and align internal communications. Lead change management (reorganizations, system rollouts, etc.) and incident communications. External Communications & Campaigns Partner with product line marketing to: Ensure communications messaging is mirrored well internally and externally. Roll out strategy for external brand launch and awareness campaigns. Contribute to digital campaigns, PR opportunities, and thought leadership aligned with brand positioning. Project & Stakeholder Management Manage timelines, budgets, and vendor/agency relationships related to communication initiatives. Serve as the central point of coordination between leadership, marketing, business lines, and HR for brand communication. Track and report performance of communication initiatives, adjusting tactics as needed. Requirements Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism or another relevant field required. 10+ years of experience in internal communications roles or marketing ideally in B2B or industrial sectors. Proven ability to lead internal brand/identity rollouts or large-scale messaging initiatives. Exceptional writing, storytelling, and editing skills—able to distill technical/complex topics into clear, engaging language for Artisans. Strong project management skills with ability to manage multiple stakeholders and deadlines. Experience with digital platforms (Chat GPT, MS CoPilot, automation tools) and multi-media communications (text, email, mailers, etc.). Comfort working with creative partners (design, video, PR agencies) to bring campaigns to life. Strategic thinker with hands-on ability to execute High experience in media development (specifically in Canva). Experience working with senior leadership and cross-functional teams. Proficient with the Microsoft suite (SharePoint, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Stream, etc.). Travel Requirements This position requires less than 5% of overnights per year. Working Conditions / Physical Demands This role requires in-office presence three days per week at a minimum, with occasional additional in-person attendance for key meetings and company events.
