If so, here is an opportunity for you! We are looking for a superstar to join our Communications Center of Expertise, as Communications Manager for Eastern Europe and Mediterranean (EEM) frontline. You are expected to be both strategic and hands-on, as the role spans from planning and executing communications activities to advising senior leaders on the topic of communications. You will be responsible for internal and external communications end to end in the frontline with support from global and area colleagues in the Center of Expertise. You will be part of the Europe Communications Center of Expertise leadership team and the EEM People & Communications extended leadership team. We expect you to work from our office in one of the locations mentioned. Travels within the frontline are expected (approx. 30% of your working time) Key responsibilities within the role: Lead internal communications, building a clear EEM story and culture platform aligned with KONE’s RISE strategy Develop engaging internal channels, and content that strengthen alignment, dialogue, and employee engagement. Ensure crisis management readiness and response Coach leaders and deliver training in communication, storytelling, and crisis readiness. Define and execute the communications roadmap, integrating internal, change, and external communications. Education and experienced required: A suitable academic degree, preferably in corporate communications or journalism Min. of 5 years’ work experience in areas such as communications or marketing Excellent stakeholder management and leadership skills. Strong track record in media relations and in crisis communications Excellent writing, editing and verbal communication skills in English and at least one local language; Good digital communications skills, including creating content and managing social media channels and digital communications campaigns Experience in managing and leading projects Accuracy, attention to detail and good organizational skills Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, take charge of issues and follow through to resolution International experience is seen as an asset As a person we expect you to be innovative, self-motivated with a growth mindset and a “can do” attitude.
