Internal Communications In close partnership with HR, support the employee engagement agenda using internal communications across GrM and accessing global / regional channels by: Identifying and prioritizing business needs Developing and implementing a tactical internal communications plan (as part of a holistic corporate communications strategy) Developing and implementing a tactical external communications plan (as part of a holistic corporate communications strategy) In-scope social media activity In-scope digital media activity Exploitation of industry awards and other reputation driving opportunities Manage all aspects of any relevant agency relationships and manage all budgets associated with the corporate communications strategy. Builds rapport and explores possibilities; able to lead and align cross-functionally without direct authority. Works in the gray/ambiguous areas to support change and business results, bringing it all together in messaging that resonates with stakeholders through strategic communications. Evaluates proactive and reactive programming through the lens of enhancing and protecting the company's reputation. Manages cross-functional and divisional alignment to clearly and consistently advocate for a strong and consistent brand aligned with brand standards. Partner with GrM MD to provide counsel and advice on all matters pertaining to leadership communication including (but not limited to): Media and presentation training Message development Identification of appropriate media opportunities, including all media outreach Briefing notes and other relevant support Business Strategist Seeks to clarify business strategy and align business unit, function, region and company-wide communications goals, building credibility and trust through a deep understanding of the internal and external factors that impact the global and regional business environment; uses data, expertise, knowledge and analytical skills to develop insights that inform strategy and solve complex problems. Uses anticipatory thinking and works as a “sense maker” by listening, thinking holistically and making connections across the company and across stakeholders while influencing and executing communications. Previous Corporate Communications experience. Previous demonstrated success at Stakeholder Management and Relationship Building, including the ability to influence senior stakeholders. Experience working cross functionally with Legal & Compliance, Regulatory Affairs etc. Authenticity in communication and decision-making, fostering trust and transparency. A resourceful approach to problem-solving, leveraging available tools and networks effectively. The ability to work independently, managing tasks and priorities with minimal supervision. A proactive mindset, anticipating needs and taking initiative to drive outcomes. Self-directed learning and development, continuously seeking growth opportunities.
Responsibilities
