REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

· Exceptional writing, editing, and communication skills, with the ability to craft clear, persuasive content across digital, social, and print media—adapting tone, style, and format to suit diverse audiences and platforms.
· Proven ability to manage communication projects from concept through to completion, producing a variety of assets across different channels, with strong organizational and time management skills.
· Self-starter with the ability to work independently, take initiative, and manage multiple priorities while also demonstrating strong collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
· Keen attention to detail, and excellent editing and proofreading skills.
· Demonstrated experience with graphic design and print specifications.
· Understanding of communications measurement tools, tactics, and benchmarks.
· Working knowledge of CRM platforms (such as Raiser’s Edge) is an asset.
· Proven experience with search engine optimization.
· Demonstrated experience in applicable computer programs, including Canva, Microsoft Teams, Word, Excel, and Outlook.

EDUCATION AND WORK REQUIREMENTS

· University degree and/or College diploma in English/Communications with a minimum of five years of direct experience working in a communications environment (or an equivalent combination of education and experience).
· Valid driver’s license and access to vehicle.
