Our client URGENTLY requires a Communications Officer / Advisor for 1 month + Contract in Nerang. The Communications Officer will provide Professional Specialised skills in communications, media, public relations, graphic design, community and stakeholder engagement are required to deliver the program of major projects for the Region. You will liaise closely with residents during works that impact their access, or are being undertaken within close proximity to their residence. Responsibilities include: Liaise with residents and project for Notice of Entry forms and communicate to residents when work is required to be carried out on their properties. Assist in development and implement communication strategies to the public in consultation with PDO Comms and assist to write and release traffic alerts. Work with the local Safety, Environment and Quality teams to support their release of communications and messaging. Assist to develop communications collateral including media releases, flyers, website copy and minister emails. Assist in the organisation of team events and in the organisation of banner mesh creation, development and delivery and organise the disposal of banner mesh at the end of projects.
