Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

Communications Officer, Public Health Communications & Behaviour Change, supports the planning and implementation of public health communications initiatives and marketing campaigns to improve health outcomes for the people of NSW. Working across a range of health issues, this position works with a multidisciplinary team of communications experts to coordinate and deliver communications projects across the Public Health Communications & Behaviour Change Unit.

Crown Clerk 7/8, starting salary from $113,574- $125,720 plus Super and annual leave loading, with a 35-hour work week, work location- 1 Reserve Road, St Leonards

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

As an organised multi-tasker, you’ll be central to the workings Public Health Communications & Behaviour Change Unit, responsible for project/campaign administration, content creation, stakeholder engagement, engaging with external stakeholders, collating campaign plans, toolkits and evaluations, facilitating campaign processes and supporting the day-to-day operations.
As part of with wider Strategic Communications & Engagement Branch at the NSW Ministry of Health, you’ll be supported to contribute and grow your communications capabilities, encouraged to think creatively and work in a kind and collaborative environment.
