Staff members holding a regular, fixed-term or short-term graded contract will not retain their contract type if appointed to an ungraded position.   Context Under the overall supervision of the Head of Editorial and direct supervision of the Communications Officer (Thematic), and technical supervision of the Head of the Strategic Support Unit, Private Sector Partnerships' Division(PSP), the Communications Officer (Private Sector Engagement) is accountable and responsible for supporting the design and implementation of effective communication strategies and activities to promote IOM’s private sector fundraising efforts, namely for corporates and foundations, as well as the Goodwill Ambassador Programme (GWA) and celebrity engagement, ensuring visibility and facilitating information flow among stakeholders. The Department of Media and Communications (DMC) at IOM is dedicated to managing and promoting global communications efforts across IOM Headquarters in Geneva and regional offices worldwide. The DMC provides essential media relations support, manages IOM’s global social media presence, curates content, drives branding, and leads global awareness campaigns. As the communications team grows and evolves, there is a need to further develop the creation of compelling and engaging content that captures the work and impact of IOM. The PSP builds partnerships with the private sector that enable IOM's strategic priorities and engage the private sector as a key stakeholder in migration through impactful and innovative partnerships. PSP leads strategic outreach and engagement with the private sector and provides Headquarters, Regional and Country Offices with assistance and expertise relating to initiating, establishing and maintaining partnerships with the private sector. PSP is responsible for the development and implementation of IOM’s Private Sector Strategy which provides a framework for how IOM engages with the private sector to support safe, orderly and regular migration. PSP oversees engagement with the private sector, establishes and coordinates IOM’s private sector partnerships due diligence process, builds staff capacity in private sector partnership-building and oversees the Goodwill Ambassador programme and celebrity engagement programme.
