As the Communications & Public Affairs Manager, LATAM, you will be responsible for driving external communications that inspire key stakeholders, acting as a coach and strategic advisor to internal leadership in the Diagnostics division. Your expertise in external communications and public affairs will help shape and protect the company's reputation and contribute to a culture employees and customers are proud of. The Opportunity Plan and deliver integrated communications strategies, narratives, and campaigns that primarily engage and align external stakeholders. Develop and execute communication strategies to engage key audiences, aligning with divisional, sub-regional, and Group Communications priorities. Translate the business and Group Communications vision and strategy into relevant local projects and initiatives. Provide effective crisis and issues counsel and communications support. Establish and maintain end-to-end integrated communication planning, including measurement against objectives. Support the LATAM Region Head and leadership as an active member of the leadership team in developing communications strategies. Work with regional Networks and Chapters to help shape a regional Communications & Public Affairs framework. You'll rely on effective teamwork and collaboration within the broader Diagnostics and Pharma Communications community in the LATAM region and with global teams. Who you are: You have 8-10 years of experience in marketing, communications, or a related field, in-house or in an agency. You have a Bachelor's degree (minimum) in Journalism, Communications, Public Relations, Public/Government Affairs, or a related field, or equivalent experience. You have demonstrated experience in integrated communications and/or Public Affairs program planning and execution, including crisis/issues management. You are fluent in Spanish and English (verbal and written). You are a strategic thinker with a thorough grasp of the healthcare/diagnostics industry, applying it to create robust and effective communication strategies. Preferred You have experience working in healthcare or a similar highly regulated industry. Fluency in Portuguese would be a plus. You have a track record of building strong, sustainable relationships with internal and external stakeholders and experience working in a networked, matrix environment.
