EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS

Essential

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Communications Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in RF engineering, preferably in communications systems.
  • Experience with RF simulation and design tools.
  • Solid understanding of RF principles, modulation techniques, and wireless communication.
  • Proficiency in using RF test equipment (e.g., spectrum analyzers, network analyzers).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Desirable

  • Demonstrated experience in verification of equipment compliance to military E3 standards.
  • Demonstrated experience in management of RADHAZ.
  • Masters degree in Electrical Engineering, Communications Engineers or a related field
Responsibilities
  • Design and Development:
  • RF communication system design, including selecting and specifying components such as radios, antennas and cable assemblies.
  • Develop link analysis / link budgets for digital datalinks.
  • Testing and Validation:
  • Conduct RF testing and measurements to validate system performance against specifications.
  • Support the analysis of test data and troubleshoot RF systems to identify and resolve issues.
  • Collaboration:
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including hardware, software, and systems engineers, to integrate RF components into larger systems.
  • Collaborate with external vendors and partners to source components and ensure compliance with specifications.
  • Documentation:
  • Prepare technical documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and reports.
  • Maintain accurate records of design changes and testing results.
  • Regulatory Compliance:
  • Ensure that all RF designs comply with relevant regulatory standards and guidelines (e.g., ACMA, FCC, ETSI).
  • Project Management:
  • Participate in project planning and scheduling to meet deadlines and budget constraints.
  • Provide technical support during the project lifecycle, from concept to deployment.
