REQUIREMENTS:

• 5-10 years’ experience working with cryptographic equipment or overseeing cryptographic deployments
• Active TOP SECRET SCI security clearance
• Security+ (per DoD Directive 8570.1) or equivalent
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred
• Customer/mission focused, self-starter with excellent time management skills
• Excellent communication (written & oral), interpersonal, presentation and technical skills

As COMSEC Engineer, you will support the COMSEC Manager and team on all aspects of the Program’s communications security efforts.

Responsibilities: Work with COMSEC Manager to ensure a successful COMSEC Program. In accordance with the Program COMSEC Management Plan, ensure COMSEC functions and activities work properly:

• Configure Program COMSEC devices
• Maintain and update COMSEC devices
• Ship and deliver COMSEC devices
• Repair defective COMSEC devices, at Subscriber locations, or prepare device to return to Depot
• Retrieving any COMSEC equipment at a location that is no longer in service
• Order new or replacement COMSEC devices
• Load key material
• Ensure COMSEC key remains current
• Support Subscriber Management functions for over 400 subscriber sites

Overall Program Support: Assist where needed to keep the overall Program successful
