DESIGNATION : Communications Specialist (Based in London or Zurich)

QUALIFICATIONS

• You have 3+ years’ relevant experience in planning and delivering external and/or internal communications in a corporate role or agency.
• You should have experience in copywriting, and you are familiar with using core internal communication channels.
• You are an autonomous, critical thinker that thrives on delivering value-driven results in an efficient manner.
• You have a collaborative, growth mindset and the ability to easily navigate shifting priorities.
• You have strong interpersonal and client-facing skills.
• You have excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to convey information clearly and persuasively.
• You have experience in video production with a proven track record of creating high-quality, professional-looking videos for various communication purposes, including social media, internal communications, presentations, and promotional materials.
• Prior experience in creative and graphics layout in PowerPoint, newsletter creation and communication campaigns are advantageous.
• You pay strong attention to detail.
• You have a bachelor’s degree in communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.

RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for our first Communications Specialist. This role is uniquely positioned to drive and develop comprehensive internal and external communication execution in a fast-pace and dynamic organization. The role holder will ensure a consistent and positive brand image, support the management of media relations, and protect the organization’s reputation as we grow and scale our BESS projects globally. To succeed in this role, the candidate must be driven, organized and attentive to detail.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and implement communication channels that align with the organization’s goals, vision and values.
• Create and manage content, including video for various channels, press releases, newsletters, social media, and company websites.
• Organize and manage events to promote key messages.
• Keep employees informed and engaged through internal announcements, newsletters, events, and other communication channels.
• Ensure that the company’s brand is consistently represented across all communication channels.
• Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including PR, employees, clients, investors, and the public to align messaging.
• Track and analyze the effectiveness of communication campaigns and make adjustments as needed.
• People & Culture: The role will assist as needed with People administrative duties.
