Description POSITION OVERVIEW The Communication Specialist works directly with the AGM/Membership Director to engage with the Bridgewater membership and community through a variety of medians. The Communication Specialist will inform, educate and support the Department Heads with staff training tools to ensure member satisfaction. This individual will also play a role in employee engagement through communication, quarterly meetings and surveys. COMMUNICATIONS · Develop and implement a social media plan · Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and other social media designs · Manage and gather images from Club Events · Website design and maintenance for both the Public and Private sides · Public Relations, Advertising and Media projects as assigned · Support the functions of the office including banquets, events, membership and communication · Projects to support events as requested but not limited to…checking in on groups/rental inquiries, design work and weddings · Maintenance of in-house communication medians (reader boards and digital marketing screens) · Print design projects (menus, promotional pieces, signage, membership materials, event materials and employee communication) · Branding and logo usage and standards · Landing page set-up for various campaigns-banner ads etc. · Interface with NorthStar · Support Club events with design of collateral materials both in print and digital · Thought partner with other departments to create new ideas · Implement new means of promotion around the Club · Keep information current, fresh, consistent and relevant to the club culture. · Consistently interact with members to uncover opportunities and challenges, using these insights to create effective strategies and business plans for achieving success Requirements QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS · Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Graphic Design, Public Relations or Marketing preferred · Or significant experience in marketing or social media and web management · Excellent written and verbal communication skills, be able to pivot well when details change, demonstrate independence with regard to executing tasks, and take initiative to stay informed of the club schedule and events. · Knowledgeable, self-motivated, and a focused individual who is able to handle multiple projects at once.
Responsibilities
