Winthrop Technologies is a leading Data Centre delivery company operating across Europe. We specialise in delivering turnkey digital infrastructure for our clients. As we continue to grow, we are looking for a Communications Specialist to support our internal and external communications strategy.

REQUIREMENTS

  • A degree in communications, marketing, journalism, or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in communications, marketing, or content creation
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a strong grasp of grammar, editing, and proofreading.
  • Basic photo editing skills and a creative mindset.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • An inclusive and thoughtful approach to communication.
  • The ability to work independently and manage multiple projects and deadlines.

Nice to Have

  • Experience writing content for use across different channels, including, email, blogs, social media and internal communications platforms
  • Familiarity with analytics tools to measure content performance.
Responsibilities

ROLE OVERVIEW

As a Communications Specialist, you will be responsible for crafting and managing content that engages our employees and external audiences. You’ll work closely with the Marketing & Internal Communications Manager to develop compelling messaging, oversee internal employee engagement, and ensure our communications are clear, effective, and aligned with company goals.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Content Creation & Management

  • Write, edit, and manage internal communications across multiple channels.
  • Create engaging posts, social media content, and communication assets to support key campaigns.
  • Maintain a structured content calendar to plan and schedule communications effectively.

Operations & Organisation

  • Archive and organise existing communication materials for easy access.
  • Oversee submission processes for internal engagement and communication platforms.

Reporting & Research

  • Track and analyse internal communications performance to refine strategies.
  • Conduct research to support content creation and communication planning.
