LEAD EXCITING ELECTRICAL COMMUNICATIONS PROJECTS – JOIN US AS A SUPERVISOR!

The Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing site operations, ensuring safety and quality standards, and maintaining strong client and subcontractor relationships.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

  • Valid Electrical License (preferred) and Telecommunications Accreditation (ASIAL telecommunications cabling license).
  • Cert III in Telecommunications (preferred).
  • Proven experience managing telecommunications projects, including staff supervision, client liaising, and subcontractor coordination.
  • Strong knowledge of NSW Health ICT Cabling Standards and construction industry practices.
  • Fluke certification and experience with vendor-based telecommunications products.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to resolve conflicts and lead teams effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and proactive approach to project management.
Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a telecommunications project team, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and legislative requirements.
  • Supervise crew members, subcontractors, and workplace participants, fostering a productive and respectful work environment.
  • Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental (HSE) guidelines, conducting toolbox meetings and daily pre-starts.
  • Manage procurement of materials, equipment, and goods (up to agreed value), ensuring timely delivery and budget compliance.
  • Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and subcontractors, addressing any issues and maintaining strong relationships.
  • Monitor project progress, manage labour forecasting, and ensure work is completed on time and within budget.
  • Maintain a high standard of quality control, ensuring all work meets specifications and legislative requirements.
  • Complete daily production records, timekeeping, and reporting as required by the Project Manager.
