Equans Electrical and Communications are looking for a skilled and experienced Communications Technician to join a growing team of Electricians and Data Communications Technicians, based at Thebarton. The ideal candidate will have completed a Cert III in Telecommunications Cabling and hold an Open Cable Registration

QUALIFICATIONS, LICENSES AND SKILLS

  • Cert III in Telecommunications Cabling
  • Open Cable Registration with endorsed Structured Cabling and Co-axial (Desirable), Fibre (Desirable)
  • White Card (Construction Induction Card)
  • Elevated Work Platform (EWP) <11m License (Desirable)
  • Working at Heights Certificate (Desirable)
  • Current Drivers Licence (Mandatory)
  • NV1 Clearance (Defence) (Highly Desirable)
  • CPR/LVR (Highly Desirable)
Responsibilities

ROLE OVERVIEW

  • Installation, testing and commissioning of various cabling & communication cabling systems in commercial environment.
  • Work a combination of day and night shift.
  • Work within a team to deliver communications projects in accordance with Company standards and to meet project time frames.
  • Ensuring customer concerns are proactively addressed.
  • Establish and maintaining relationships with customers, colleagues and Managers of the Company.
  • Ability to determine job priorities and to meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
