Job Summary:
At The Speech Solution Centre we offer speech and language services for Preschoolers and School Age Students.
We are looking to hire dedicated and energetic skilled individuals to fill a Fee for Service and/or Part time positions Communicative Disorders Assistant to join our team. Experience working with children and children diagnosed with ASD is preferred.
Major Responsibilities:
· Carries out the Speech-Language Pathology designated goals to individual clients or groups of clients who are being seen for speech and language therapy.
· Provides education to clients and caregivers under direct supervision by the Speech-Language Pathologist.
· Develops materials for use with individual clients.
· Documents accurate session progress notes.
· Communicates in a timely and effective manner with SLP and clients.
· Utilizes research information to support evidence-based practice.
· To perform other duties as assigned by the Speech-Language Pathologist

Education, Experience, and Qualifications:

• Communicative Disorders Assistant graduate certificate is required.
• Must be eligible member of CDAAC.
• Proficient verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills are required.
• Fluency in another language is considered an asset.
