Description

Elgin Audiology has an immediate opening for an Audiology/Communicative Disorders Assistant at our office in Stratford, ON to cover a maternity leave with the possibility of continuing permanently. The ideal candidate has strong customer service and multi-tasking skills.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Supporting audiologists with patient care activities
  • Hearing aid cleaning and troubleshooting procedures
  • Comfortable speaking with patients on the phone
  • Booking, scheduling, and billing appointments using computerized scheduling software
  • Maintaining and preparing patient room areas including light clean up duties
  • Other administrative duties including Hearing Aid shipping/receiving, filing etc.

Job Requirements:

  • Communicative Disorders Assistant graduate certificate or equivalent
  • 2-3 years of work experience preferred
  • Excellent computer skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Exceptional telephone etiquette
  • Strong customer service skills with all age groups
  • This position requires some limited occasional travel, with a reliable personal vehicle
  • Ability to work both independently and within team environment with frequent interruptions
