Your new role MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB: To provide supervision of all areas during community use, ensuring the smooth running and operation of the facilities, with the needs of the community groups met. Responsible for ensuring that high standards of customer services are met and maintained daily. To ensure the health and safety of all. DUTIES: Ensuring customers comply with all terms & conditions, including codes of conduct. Liaising with the school and community groups in relation to the use of the facility. Dealing with third party (Extended / Community users) enquiries in an efficient and courteous manner. General reception duties ensuring all group leaders sign in and sign out. Ensuring that community users vacate the facilities at the correct time. Ensuring a high standard of cleanliness is maintained throughout the building especially in the changing rooms, pools, sports hall and gymnasium including cubicles, showers and toilets. Liaising with the caretaker about the use of the facility and any equipment. Ensuring that the appropriate equipment is set out at the right time and in the correct places (both indoor and outdoor) and that such equipment is immediately returned to the appropriate storage area after use. Undertake checks of equipment for suitability, damage and loss. Reporting to the caretaker any damage to equipment or fabric of the buildings. The post holder must comply with the Companies policy regarding personal presentation which includes the wearing of staff uniform at all times whilst on duty. Responsible for own Health and Safety and the Health and Safety of other staff. Responsible for the health and safety of all our customers. Maintaining a vigilant attitude to security both in and around the buildings at all times. Ensuring all operations are carried out as detailed within operating procedures and appropriate Health and Safety regulations. Willing to undertake basic skills training, specific on the job training and training in health and safety and emergency procedures as required.
