Description

ABOUT FOLK

Folk is a new co-living brand with big ambitions to transform the way people rent in cities. Many of us are living in flats and homes that were designed for the needs of renters 100 years ago. We think it’s time to design a new way of renting, by renters, for the needs of renters today. We create homes that offer opportunities to connect with others, architect-designed spaces, next-level convenience, and a genuine positive environmental and social impact. It’s a more stress free, sociable and sustainable way of renting.

CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE

  • Welcome new residents and assist with check-ins
  • Conduct follow-up check-ins with new residents at 2-week milestones
  • Help build personal relationships with residents by being a friendly and consistent point of contact
  • Support in connecting residents to each other to foster a sense of community

EXPERIENCE/SKILLS REQUIRED

  • A warm, friendly personality and genuine interest in people and community
  • Some previous experience in customer service, hospitality, or events is ideal
  • Highly organised with good attention to detail
  • Confident communicator, both in-person and online
  • Comfortable using social media and basic digital tools (e.g. Google Drive, Canva, or Microsoft Office)
  • Reliable, proactive, and willing to pitch in as part of a small and dedicated team
  • A positive, can-do attitude and a flexible approach to shift work and weekend availability
Responsibilities

As our part-time Community & Events Assistant, your role is to support the delivery of an outstanding resident experience at Folk Co-living. You will work alongside the Community & Events Coordinator to help residents feel welcome, engaged, and at home. You’ll assist with event delivery, resident communications, and community engagement - bringing warmth, energy, and creativity to the building.
This is a part-time role working 20 hours per week, some weekends and evenings will be required to accommodate events. You will work across two of our Co-Living sites - Sunday Mills in Earlsfield, and Florence Dock in Battersea.
