Senior Community and Social Performance Advisor We are seeking an experienced Senior Community and Social Performance Advisor to join our Infrastructure Delivery team on a permanent full-time basis. While Brisbane is our preferred location, we are open to considering other locations for the right candidate. We offer flexible and hybrid working arrangements to support work–life balance. In this role, you will be supporting the delivery of APA’s projects by developing and implementing tailored community and social performance strategies. You will build strong community and stakeholder relationships, deliver impactful social performance outcomes and contribute to projects from the concept phase through to the end of construction. You'll have the opportunity to design and deliver initiatives that make a positive change within communities, working on projects across the country. Key Responsibilities Develop and implement project-specific Community and Social Performance Plans, including community profiling, stakeholder engagement, social impact assessments, social risk assessments and social investment planning Develop and deliver community and social performance strategies that enhance social values and outcomes Build and maintain strong, respectful relationships with community stakeholders, including First Nations people, to support project delivery Plan and execute inclusive, culturally appropriate engagement activities Manage community and stakeholder communication, including the creation and delivery of materials Provide guidance to project teams to ensure consistency in community and stakeholder consultation Your background Extensive experience in a similar role (preferably gained in the infrastructure, mining, gas or other resources sector) Knowledge of regulatory approvals processes for energy infrastructure development projects, and the related community and social performance requirements Demonstrated ability in developing and implementing community engagement programs Experience working respectfully and in a cultural appropriate way with First Nations communities and organisations Proven ability to engage and collaborate with both diverse internal and external stakeholders including community, government, business and economic development groups Effective communication, listening, and presentation skills The ability and willingness to travel and a valid Driver’s licence If you are motivated to build strong community relationships and deliver projects that create positive social outcomes, we would love to hear from you.
