Job Description
Due to continued strong growth and the award of several new projects supporting critical infrastructure across Vic, we are looking for a Communications and Stakeholder Manager to join our Vic team.
As the Communications and Stakeholder Manager, you will play a crucial role in managing and facilitating effective communication between internal stakeholders and the broader community. You will ensure that the project is delivered in a manner that is transparent, compliant, and beneficial to both the company and the communities.

Key accountabilities for the position:

• Evaluate and implement changes to community policies, programs and practices
• Identify stakeholder and community issues to provide innovative mitigation strategies and solutions
• Conduct community meetings to address concerns and provide regular updates on project progress
• Develop and implement communication strategies and plans tailored to the project
• Collaborate with a number of different stakeholders, teams and external agencies
• Establish and maintain Client / Customer relationships to assist in project delivery

Required Skills and Competencies

• Tertiary qualification in Communications, Media and Culture, or similar
• Experience in a similar role
• Well-developed MS Office skills (PowerPoint, Word and Excel)
• Must be customer-focused, team-oriented, accountable and results-driven
• Excellent writing and communication skills with experience across a broad range of communications activities - media, websites, publications, marketing, social media, events, etc.
