It’s connection Ok, so this isn't your typical reception job. In fact, we call it Community Associate. The community team at Spacemade are space makers. Literally. If you’re the type who lights up a room, remembers everyone’s name, and can throw a cracking event that gets people mingling – read on. If you're looking for a reception job where you just sit at a front desk all day answering phones, then please do not apply... Your mission: Create a warm, safe and vibrant atmosphere for members and guests Greet, chat, and support members with anything they need Onboard new members and help them feel at home Plan and host great events (think coffee mornings, socials, wellness and pop-ups) Keep the front desk looking sharp and the building running like clockwork Liaise with ops and maintenance teams to keep standards sky-high Pitch in with ideas for improving the member experience 🌟 You’ll love this if you… Have experience in a customer-facing role – ideally in coworking, hospitality, theatre or front-of-house Are confident with tech (you’ll be trained on our CRM and booking systems) Are curious, thoughtful and love connecting with people Have a flair for organising and hosting events Want to work Mon–Fri (no evenings or weekends!) Are proactive, professional and great under pressure Bring creativity, energy, and a touch of theatre to your day Want to grow your career – several of our Community Associates have been promoted into Community Manager roles Why work for us? 🤝 A supportive, friendly, hard-working team. 🎉 Quarterly team socials & get-togethers. 🐶 Bring your pooch to work - we are a dog-friendly office. 🎂 Take a half-day on your birthday. 🧘 A mental health personal day. 🫶 One paid charity day per year. 💰 Competitive salary and bonus scheme. 🏖 25 Days holiday per year (excluding Bank Holidays). 🏅 £50 per month wellbeing allowance. 🚲 Cycle to work salary sacrifice scheme £2000 Who we are At Spacemade, we believe that real-world connections shape our personal and professional journeys in ways unmatched by digital networks and interfaces. We are proud to be a certified BCorp business. What next? If you’re a match, we will ask for: 1. A short video introduction or a quick get-to-know chat with our Head of People and the Community Manager 2. A take-home task (case study) then an online (or F2F) interview with our Head of Community and Senior Community Manager We’re an equal opportunity employer.
