The Position We are seeking a detailed-oriented Legal Admin/Legal Assistant or Paralegal to add to our growing Community Associations team. In addition to competitive compensation, we are proud to offer our employees: • Comprehensive benefits packages • Generous paid time-off • 401k plan with profit sharing • Free parking Requirements Essential responsibilities of the position will include: • Communicate with attorneys, clients, vendors, and courts regarding assigned cases or projects • Schedule and prepare legal documents for meetings, hearings, mediations and lien foreclosures, etc. • Prepare and file legal documents via the e-Portal system in accordance with judicial procedures for both state and federal • File legal documents via simplifile • Maintain and update various online websites in accordance with notification requirements • Compile documents to create record on appeal/appendix • Other administrative duties as assigned Ideal candidates for this position will possess the following qualifications: • Experience preparing legal documents • Ability to perform mathematical calculations and handle multiple tasks simultaneously • Excellent oral and written communication skills • Enjoy working in a detailed oriented, collaborative environment • Technical skills to include MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Kofax, and Outlook • Commitment to providing consistent high-quality work product • Organizational skills • Familiarity with governmental e-filings and document management systems • Experienced in document/case management programs, and time/billing software • An interest in marketing
