Nunhead Salvation Army Corps is looking for a dynamic and highly motivated Community Cafe Manager to coordinate the effective operation of the Cafe with responsibility for management of employees and volunteers working within it to ensure a high standard of service.

Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ensure good quality food, presentation and services are provided to Café customers as well as for special events or functions to provide a high level of customer service.
  • Develop and regularly evaluate, with the officer, a strategy that will promote the café in the local community and increase income.
  • Work with the officer and the local leadership to develop and implement the corps mission.
  • Take any necessary actions or initiatives to promote the ethos and values of the Salvation Army in the local community.
  • Plan menus, taking into account dietary needs, choice and customer opinion to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
