JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Community Care Worker to provide essential support to individuals in their homes and communities. SKILLS

• Proven experience in home care or similar roles is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of medication administration protocols and first aid practices.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and their families.
• Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others in need of care.
• Ability to work independently while also being an effective team player.
• Knowledge of hospice care or nursing home environments is advantageous.
• Valid driving licence is preferred for transporting clients safely.

• Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
• Provide meal preparation and nutritional support tailored to individual dietary needs.
• Administer medication as prescribed, ensuring adherence to care plans.
• Offer companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment.
• Drive clients to appointments, social activities, or errands as needed.
• Support childcare duties when applicable, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for children.
• Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in client condition to the appropriate personnel.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals, family members, and other caregivers to coordinate comprehensive care plans.
• Assist with light housekeeping tasks to ensure a clean and safe living environment for clients.
