Position Summary The Community Care Navigator – Systems Lead position is a full-time, 40 hours per week (non-exempt, benefits eligible) and will primarily take place at the NLC warehouse. The Community Care Navigator – Systems Lead is responsible for maintaining the integrity, accuracy, and efficiency of the warehouse management system and inventory records. This position serves as the primary owner of inventory accuracy, sales order management, inventory control, reporting, and procurement purchasing within the warehouse operation. This position will assist the Director of Donations and Resources as needed. This is a hands-on warehouse position. Flexibility is essential, as priorities may change based on organizational needs, donor opportunities, partner requests, and emergency response efforts. Occasional evening, weekend, local travel, and emergency response work may be required. This position is in-person. Job Responsibilities Warehouse Systems & Inventory * Maintain the accuracy and integrity of the Kechie Warehouse Management System. * Manage inventory records, inventory adjustments, and item maintenance. * Lead cycle counts and assists with annual physical inventory. * Research and resolve inventory discrepancies. * Monitor inventory levels and communicate low inventory to the Director of Donations & Resources. * Create procurement purchase orders and maintain supporting documentation. * Generate inventory, operational, and distribution reports. Sales Order Management * Review and maintain all partner sales orders. * Allocate product quantities based on inventory availability and organizational priorities. * Coordinate partner delivery dates and communicate scheduling updates. * Ensure sales orders are complete and ready for warehouse fulfillment. * Maintain accurate inventory transactions and documentation. Collaboration & Operational Support * Works collaboratively with the Community Care Navigator - Logistics Lead to ensure warehouse operations are accurately reflected within the warehouse management system and that partner orders are fulfilled efficiently and accurately. * Communicate receiving issues, shipment delays, shortages, and operational concerns. * Provides guidance to staff and volunteers regarding receiving and warehouse systems procedures. * Identify opportunities to improve warehouse flow and systems processes. Warehouse Operations * Assists in receiving, unloading, picking, auditing, loading, organizing inventory, and supporting warehouse activities as operational needs require. * Support warehouse operations during periods of high volume or emergency response. * Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. * Demonstrates New Life Centers’s mission, vision, and values in all responsibilities. * Participates in all required evaluations and audits. * Attends required meetings and trainings. * General manual labor duties such as performing physical tasks like lifting, moving, stacking, organizing, carrying materials, and maintaining a clean and save worksite. * Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Donation & Resources as priorities may change based on organizational needs Skills & Qualifications * Must be able to drive (25 years of age for NLC insurance). * Must be able to drive a NLC cargo/liftgate truck and be willing to travel locally for deliveries and partner support. * Must be able/willing to travel locally for deliveries etc. * Must be available to respond to crisis outside of regular scheduled hours when assigned. * Must become a Certified Mandated Reporter. Training provided. * Must clear all required background checks, must not have any pending cases. * Must have a working phone and phone number. * Minimum two years of experience in warehouse logistics, receiving, distribution, or supply chain operations. * Experience with shipping documentation, inventory processes, and warehouse operations. * Experience using warehouse management systems (Kechie preferred). * Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace. * Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment. * Cross-cultural competency and ability two work respectfully with diverse communities, volunteers, and partner organizations. * Must keep confidentiality of participant information. * Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others. * Valid Illinois driver’s license, insurance, good driving record, access to a vehicle. Subject to driving background check. * Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and safely operate warehouse equipment or become certified. * Flexible schedule, including occasional evenings, weekends, and emergency response assignments. * Bilingual English/Spanish required. Responsibilities

The Systems Lead maintains the integrity and accuracy of the warehouse management system, inventory records, and procurement processes. They are also responsible for managing partner sales orders and supporting general warehouse operations and manual labor.
