ANOTHEN Community Care specialises in offering quality training and education programs for those I the community care sector. We have an opening in our Perth office for a trainer and assessor to join our progressive and innovative team. This role offers flexibility and variety to the right candidates.

ABOUT YOU

  • We are looking for individuals who:
  • Can deliver engaging lessons to their students
  • Have the ability to employ teaching methods that cater to different learning styles
  • Have the ability to adapt content and assessment for a diverse audience
  • Can demonstrate strong communication skills - English must be excellent – written, verbal and compression
  • Have the ability to be flexible, adaptable and able to solve problems
  • Have well developed organisational skills

If you have the ability, skills and knowledge to provide quality training and assessment for one or more of the below we want to hear from you.

  • NDIS Module 1 training – this training requires a registered nurse who have currently experience in 1 or more areas of supports. (Complex Bowel Care, Enteral Feeding Tube Management, Severe Dysphagia Care, Tracheostomy Care, Urinary Catheter Care, Subcutaneous Injections, Medication Administration, Complex Wound Care, Ventilator Care, Infection Control, Diabetes Care, Epilepsy Care)
  • Support workers general skill building training – This training can be done by various facilitators who have a knowledge of the topics which increase supports ability to provide quality supports. (report writing, time management, observation skills, communication skills, teamwork, work and safety, inclusion, skills for active supports, choice and control etc.)
  • National accredited training – ANOTHEN Community Care partners with various RTOs to provide training, this includes qualifications, skill sets and UOC. All trainers and assessors must have the for these programs must have the current TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or equivalent, and you must be able to demonstrate currency in the UOC to be delivered

Responsibilities

We currently have multiply, roles for trainers, assessors and facilitators at our WA locations. These roles are employment based and are casual. Hourly rates are decided on the individual experience, and level of training. Please note we do not engage contractors for these roles. Were applicable travel, accommodation and food is paid additional to wages.
