JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Community Care Worker to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to individuals in various settings, including nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and hospice care. Your primary focus will be on enhancing the quality of life for seniors and individuals requiring assistance with daily activities. This position requires a caring attitude, strong communication skills, and the ability to perform physical tasks such as heavy lifting.

EXPERIENCE

  • Previous experience in senior care, patient care, or a related field is preferred but not essential.
  • Familiarity with first aid practices is advantageous.
  • Experience in nursing homes, assisted living, or hospice care settings is beneficial.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by the role.
  • A valid driving licence is required for transporting clients when necessary.

  • Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and medication administration.

  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light housekeeping duties.
