What You’ll Do: As a Community Care Worker, you’ll be responsible for a variety of tasks to support our service users, including:

  • Personal Care: Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting to ensure our service users feel comfortable and dignified.
  • Meal Preparation: Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding if necessary, ensuring dietary needs are met.
  • Medication Prompting: Remind and assist service users with taking their prescribed medications on time.
  • Household Tasks: Help with light housekeeping duties such as cleaning, laundry, and organising to maintain a safe and tidy environment.
  • Companionship: Engage in meaningful conversations and activities to provide emotional support and reduce feelings of loneliness.
  • Mobility Assistance: Support service users with moving around their homes safely, including transferring from bed to chair and using mobility aids.
  • Shopping and Errands: Assist with grocery shopping and running errands to ensure service users have everything they need.
  • Health Monitoring: Keep an eye on the health and wellbeing of service users, reporting any concerns to healthcare professionals.

Requirements:

  • Full driving licence and access to your own vehicle
  • Willingness to work various shifts (6:30am - 10:30pm)
  • Support Worker experience preferred but not essential
  • English language proficiency
  • Work authorisation in the United Kingdom
