OVERVIEW

The Community Care Worker plays a vital role in supporting individuals within the community to lead fulfilling lives. This position involves providing assistance with daily living activities, promoting independence, and ensuring the well-being of clients. REQUIREMENTS

• Previous experience in a care or support role is desirable but not essential.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• A compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing needs of clients and work schedules.
• A valid driving licence may be advantageous for community outreach roles.

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Support clients in meal preparation and ensure proper nutrition.
• Help clients manage their medications and attend medical appointments.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients’ quality of life.
• Facilitate social activities and encourage participation in community events.
• Maintain accurate records of client progress and report any changes to the supervising staff.
• Mentor and supervise junior staff or volunteers as required, fostering a supportive environment for growth and development.
