Job Details Job Location: FLA-Daytona Beach Corps - Daytona Beach, FL 32117 Position Type: Full Time Regular Education Level: High School Diploma/GED Salary Range: $14.00 - $14.50 Hourly Travel Percentage: None Job Shift: Day Job Category: Recreation Schedule/Hours: M – S Various This position is responsible for: Assists in facilitating and monitoring recreational activities of the Community Center; supervise and coaches sporting events, transports patrons to and from the Community Center; assists in maintaining Community Center facilities, equipment and grounds Key Responsibilities: Open/Close the Community Center in compliance with established operating hours. Prepares and maintains a schedule of Community Center activities in an accurate and timely matter Supervises patrons visiting the Community Center and participating in programs. Physical requirements and working conditions: Ability to meet attendance requirements. Ability to read, write, and communicate the English language. Ability to perform various yard work including raking, loading, and hauling grass, leaves, pine straw, dirt, etc. Ability to lift equipment weighing up to 25 lbs. on a regular basis; ability to move heavier equipment on an occasional basis (up to 50 lbs.). Duties are usually performed by combinations of sitting standing and walking on frequent change basis.
