Responsibilities

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

As a Key Holder, you’ll ensure our community spaces are prepared, secure, and ready for hirers, events, and visitors. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Opening & Closing: Oversee lock-up duties and respond to alarm call-outs as a trusted building guardian.
  • Facility Setup: Arrange rooms with furniture and equipment to create the perfect setting for events and activities.
  • Maintaining Cleanliness: Keep rooms, furniture, and toilets spotless to provide a safe and inviting environment.
  • Customer Support: Assist visitors with enquiries, bookings, and general help with a friendly approach.
  • Safety & Security Checks: Conduct regular inspections, report defects, and ensure compliance with regulations like C.O.S.H.H.
  • Administrative Tasks: Handle bookings, manage cash transactions, and complete essential paperwork with precision.
  • Emergency Preparedness: Stay informed on fire safety and evacuation procedures to maintain a secure space.
  • Team Collaboration: Work independently or alongside colleagues to tackle daily operational needs.
  • Catering Support: Step in when required to assist catering services.
  • Training & Development: Take advantage of training sessions to enhance your skills.
