About the Role As the Community Cricket Coaching Lead, you will be responsible for planning, promoting and delivering coaching education and development opportunities across the state. You will play a pivotal role in rolling out Cricket Australia's Coach360 framework, expanding the coach network, and designing sustainable coaching programs that support the growth of the game. You will also oversee commercially viable holiday programs, private coaching initiatives and the Adelaide Strikers Junior Academy, while supporting the development of coaches across community, representative and pathway environments. Key Responsibilities Build, support and develop a statewide network of community cricket coaches through education, accreditation and mentoring opportunities. Design and deliver coaching courses, workshops and development programs for community, representative and pathway coaches. Develop and manage coach engagement initiatives, resources and communications in collaboration with internal stakeholders. Oversee coach education databases and digital learning platforms to ensure accurate accreditation and participation records. Establish and grow commercially viable coaching programs, including holiday clinics, private coaching and group sessions. Manage the operational delivery of the Adelaide Strikers Junior Academy, including staffing, budgeting, administration and program execution. Build strong relationships with clubs, associations, the Australian Cricketers' Association (ACA) and other key stakeholders to enhance coach development opportunities. Support the recruitment, training and ongoing development of coaches within targeted and underrepresented communities. Collaborate with SACA teams to deliver inclusive participation initiatives, including women's and girls' cricket programs and community engagement activities. Essential Skills & Experience Tertiary qualification in Education, Sport Management, Physical Activity or a related discipline (or equivalent experience). Representative (Level 2) Cricket Coach Accreditation or equivalent, or willingness to obtain. Valid Working with Children Check (or ability to obtain before commencement). Current unrestricted driver's license. Experience delivering training, workshops and presentations to groups. Strong understanding of cricket and the Australian junior cricket pathway. Demonstrated project management experience. Excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Experience using databases, digital learning platforms and reporting systems. Proven strategic thinking, planning and problem-solving abilities.
