Description
Community Development Analyst The Office of Housing Support within the Ohio Department of Development is presently hiring for a Community Development Analyst to contribute to a team of dedicated individuals who share a passion for supporting Ohio communities in their mission to increase affordable housing. What you’ll be doing: Provide excellent customer service and technical assistance to grantees, local officials, and community stakeholders. Support applicants with project design, eligibility, compliance, funding options, and application preparation. Monitor grant recipients for compliance with state and federal regulations through site visits, file reviews, and reports. Prepare compliance reports, recommend corrective actions, and follow up to ensure resolution. Manage the application process, including guidelines, scoring, reviews, feedback, and recommendations. Conduct research, gather stakeholder input, and analyze data to inform policy and program development. Represent the department in a professional, collaborative, and customer-focused manner. Travel as required, may include overnight stays. 36 months experience in planning, developing and/or implementing community and/or economic development programs. Must be able to provide own transportation. -Or completion of an undergraduate core program in business administration, public administration, city and regional planning, sociology, social services or political science; 12 months experience in planning, developing and/or implementing community and/or economic development programs. Must be able to provide own transportation.
Responsibilities
