This role will be important to the Barnsley Big Idea for Physical Activity supported by Sport England. As a Community Development Officer, you will provide specialist support through a placed-based approach in a number of communities to help create the conditions for more people to enjoy the benefits of moving more. You will need to be able to display:
Working in close partnership with colleagues in the team, across the council and a host of statutory, community and voluntary groups, you will lend your expertise to programmes promoting physical activity, health, and wellbeing.
What you’ll need
