JOB DESCRIPTION

Edmonton Integrated Services Ltd, or better known as EIS, is seeking to hire an extraordinary person with about three (3) years’ of practical experience providing care and community support to adults with developmental disabilities in the role of Community Disability Support Practitioner (“CDSP”)

REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous experience working with adults with developmental disabilities.
• Ability to provide a satisfactory Criminal Record Check with a Vulnerable Sectors Search.
• Enhanced ability to de-escalate and/or respond proactively and appropriately to behaviors of concern. Experience with mental health concerns a major asset
• Effective verbal and written communication and the ability communicate clearly with various clients, colleagues, and Agency Leadership is vital for performing successfully in the role.
• Intermediate computer skills
  Our Agency develops and offers a variety of services and programs including Independent and Supported Living, Residential and Community Access and Inclusion Programs. We offer market compensation, flexible scheduling options, and opportunities for professional growth.
  Job Type: Full time and Part time Permanent
  Pay: $22.00-$24.04 per hour
  Schedule: We are looking for candidates available to work Monday to Friday, between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM. Both full-time and part-time positions are available.
