CSIRO’s Health & Biosecurity research undertakes world-class multidisciplinary science, develops relevant IP and deploys innovative solutions through our national and global networks to address the complexity and interdependencies of human, animal and environmental health and biosecurity challenges across Australia and the world.
The Australian e-Health Research Centre within the Health and Biosecurity business is a world-class centre undertaking research and development across health and biomedical informatics and health services. CSIRO’s Australian e-Health Research Centre (AEHRC) is transforming the way healthcare is delivered and contributing to multiple projects undertaken within AEHRC and our partner organisations.
We are seeking a Community Engagement Analyst within the Sparked AU FHIR Accelerator team at the Australian e-Health Research Centre (AEHRC). It is a dynamic and multifaceted position. It is a semi-autonomous role that will be supported by the Sparked Program Leads and the Program Director and is pivotal in fostering engagement and collaboration across diverse stakeholders to support the Sparked community initiatives. This role demands active coordination with the Program Leads and the program team to enhance the community engagement plan, develop and manage Sparked events, and plan and support internal and third-party events.

YOUR HIGH-LEVEL DUTIES WILL INCLUDE:

  • Plan and manage key Sparked external and internal events from initial stages through to completion, including post-event wrap-up and reporting.
  • Ensure the budget, financial reconciliation and all matters relating to the event and meeting costs and expenses are recorded and monitored.
  • Support partners, liaise with and guide major third parties’ events in collaboration with where required.
  • Maintain and grow strong relationships with all stakeholders and establish good and effective communication lines.
  • Assist with the implementation and delivery of stakeholder engagement, including meeting programmes, responding to relevant consultations, stakeholder mapping, and supporting managers in engaging communities.
  • Monitor and evaluate community and stakeholder engagement projects, providing ideas for continuous improvement.
  • Manage Sparked Membership Database, Engagement, Event Plan and all social media communication.
  • Maintain exceptional attention to detail and support all administrative tasks associated with the role.

ROLE PARTICULARS

Location: Brisbane (Herston site) preferred; Open to Sydney
Salary: AU$114k – AU$123k per annum (pro rata for part-time), plus 15.4% superannuation
